I higly suggest you to emulate it because alot of ports (especially PC ones) are kind of funky. Not too long, and the mechanics go on from this game to the last one (except some more stuff). Shooting isn't that free as it is in Contra.Īlso, Metal Slug is usually more about POINTS then reaching point A to point B, so it needs alot of practice to understand the enemies and game mechanics (weapons too).Ī nice entry in the series that could help you understand how everything works is Metal Slug X. Mmmh well, if you played Contra, you just have to keep in mind that Metal Slug doesn't have the same controls.
